Absolut Shäd

Hey, I’m finally back with a new post!  It’s been awhile, but here’s a mini-project I did.  It was quick and easy.  I bought this cable-knit sweater lamp shade from Target, on sale.  I  measured the circumference, bought some green pom-pom fringe from the fabric store, & Elmer glued it to the shade.  Connected the shade to my oversized glass Absolut Pear promo-bottle-turned desk lamp, & presto!  Yes, I did take a picture with the lamp turned on, but I thought this pic showed off the detail of the shade, the best.  Cable-knit baby!  Now it’s the perfect lamp, in which to lay next to and read.          

I’m finishing up a caricature painting of Tina Turner, complete with an epoxy-resin coating.      So, it’s drying right now, or rather, “curing.”  I should have it up in a couple days, stay tuned! 😉
